My journey in photography began as a child with my fascination of the images and storytelling of Life magazine. While attending college at the University of Florida, I began my study of photography. I got carried away capturing images and spent hours and days in a dark room developing film images. Soon after, friends began asking me to capture their special days and little ones. It took another 15 years before I left my job as a teacher to officially start my business. I can’t even believe I waited so long to live my dream job!
While in college I met and had the good sense to marry my prince charming. I am not much of a princess, however our three darling daughters do the job just fine. I also do not live in a castle, which is fortunate because I do not enjoy cleaning. I do adore all things French, vintage, and shabby, You can often find me reading a great book, watching sunset on the beach, while enjoying a fabulous Bordeaux. I live my life revolved around the kingdom of God and living missionally. Our family has been involved personally with Young Life, as we have been leaders for the past 25 years. We currently lead the college Young Life in Bradenton. We have a huge heart for Haiti and travel there frequently. I treasure humans, so telling their stories and capturing the special memories that make up life here on earth is my passion! Enough about me already...
